Genealogy Intake Form – Canada:

Thank you for your interest in EuroPassport. We would be happy to process your Genealogy Intake form for European member countries’ citizenship by descent. While submitting your form, please consider the following:

This form will help our genealogists find the best path to obtain the necessary documents to prove your ancestors citizenship in a European country and any other necessary documents that will help you get your citizenship by descent or get your family tree.

What are you paying for:

  • Our in-house genealogist will take a thorough look at the information you provided to us, including reviewing documents, pieces of evidence and data on your intake form;

  • Research records on databases available to genealogists;

  • Consult with one of more genealogists in Europe and Canada.;

  • Determine next steps on the process;

  • Communications with you about the genealogy case and if additional information is required;

  • Prepare a plan of action and a quote for genealogical research.

What is not included:

  • Actual genealogical research.

  • Retrieval of documents.

Fee: $250 CAD + tax

Refunds:

  • Once this form is submitted, we would not issue a refund as our team will start working on your research almost immediately. You are paying for the time our genealogist will use to get the work done, not for positive results. Whether we found documents or not, there would not be a refund.

Time Frame:

Although we work as quickly as we can, we cannot guarantee that your proposal/report will be ready in a certain amount of time as each research is different. We will notify you as soon as it is ready.

Further Instructions:

  • Please answer these questions as completely and accurately as possible, and with the most complete information that you can provide; all these questions are relevant to your genealogical research. This questionnaire has been developed together with the input of our network of immigration lawyers and genealogists in Europe and Canada. 

  • Please attach all the documents of your ancestors which you have available, which may include birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates, passports, internal passports, army draft cards, naturalization documents, property records, health records, school records, etc. We suggest you ask family members for information and documents; you may be surprised how much you can find just by asking;

  • The assessment has the capability of saving the information you already inputted, and you will be able to continue later;

  • Each country has different requirements for citizenship, therefore, we will look for the necessary documents for the country where you are interested in applying for citizenship.

  • You will be able to save the already-answered part of your ancestry by clicking on the save button at the end of the questionnaire and then retrieving the link in your email.
