Schedule C – Legal Documents for European Lawyers

• 1. European Lawyer Consent Letter: To provide the portion of the Services involving the European Lawyer, where so requested by the Consultant the Client shall sign a form of consent letter (“Letter of Consent”). Among other things, the Letter of Consent is intended to authorize the Consultant to work with the European Lawyer on the Client’s behalf, to exchange information and documents with the European Lawyer in connection with the Services, and grants to the Consultant a power of attorney in connection with the Client’s application for Citizenship by Descent and related passport services where applicable. The Client acknowledges that the Letter of Consent may also confirm that the European Lawyer acts as an independent data controller for legal advice, legal representation, and other activities subject to the European Lawyer’s professional obligations, and may act on behalf of EuroPassport as a processor or sub-processor for separate administrative or non-legal processing activities where permitted by applicable law. The Client acknowledges that the Letter of Consent will be governed by the law of the European country where that lawyer is licensed to practice. EuroPassport shall provide the Client with a copy of the Letter of Consent form when it makes the request for the Client to sign the Letter of Consent.
• 2. Legal Fees: The Client acknowledges that the European Lawyer is a Third Party Contractor (as that term is defined above in Section 3 (Outside Experts) of Schedule A – Scope of Work). The Client is responsible for all fees, disbursements, taxes, and other payments owing to the European Lawyer, which shall be included in the Price and set out in the Pricing Documents. The Consultant will be collecting those fees from the Client as part of the Price and remitting them to the European Lawyer as required.
