Schedule D – Payment

• 1. Currency: Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement or in the Pricing Documents, any money payable by Clients located in Canada shall be in Canadian Dollars (CAD $). Otherwise, amounts payable by the Client pursuant to this Agreement shall be in the currency of the United States of America, that being United States Dollars (USD $).
• 2. Taxes: In addition to the Price, the Client will pay the Consultant any and all applicable taxes exigible on the Services including goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax.
• 3. Invoices: The Consultant shall periodically invoice the Client for any and all fees and expenses payable pursuant to the terms of this Agreement (including the portions of the Price commensurate with the Services rendered to date). The Client shall pay the Consultant in accordance with the terms set out in the invoice. In the event of a conflict between the invoice and this Agreement, this Agreement shall be paramount and its terms shall replace and supersede those in the invoice to the extent of the conflict. Except as otherwise stated in the invoice, the Client shall pay the Consultant within thirty (30) days of receipt thereof. In the event of a late payment, except as otherwise stated in the invoice the Client shall be liable for late payment fees, penalties or interest at a rate of 1.5% per month calculated monthly (effective annual rate of 19.56%) following 45 days after the invoice has been rendered.
• 4. Refunds: EuroPassport reserves the right to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis as determined by it in its sole and absolute discretion. However, the Client acknowledges that in exchange for its payments, it is receiving the benefit of the professional time, legal work, research, and other services performed. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will the Consultant issue any refunds for any circumstances contemplated in its general disclaimer found at Section 4 (General Disclaimer) of Schedule G – General Terms. This includes, without restriction, ineligibility for Citizenship by Descent resulting from changes to the law, inability to procure certain Lineage Documents, or any other factor outside of EuroPassport’s control.
